In the Past Week I...

Went to Binge & Purge on Cherokee street, where I almost got mugged by a "Marines Veteran"..the stories homeless people tell always seem to amaze me, but never faze me.
The dude tried getting in our car, stating that he's "trying to show us where his car broke down"....I'm like--WOW WTF!!!
I was scared out of my jeebiees. Luckly, I had just bought a cool "pen knife" from the store I just left. As well as a couple of other cool gadgets.
Anyway. The store was full of awesomeness. It's like a mix between Cranky Yellow and the Vintage Herbadashery--But smaller. You should check them all out if your in the St.Louis area. I'm sure you'll find SOMETHING you like. I bought some awesome slap bracelets (which I will post shortly)..**ahhh, the memories.**


Expressed my love for YOO-HOO, the legendary canned chocolate drink.. With a mug.


Went thrifting..a few times, actually. Truck full, money gone..


Friday night I was terrified for my life, the sky says it all...
It suddenly got dark, clouds moved in, tornado warnings on the tv...OMG and the wind! The wind was furious..

But I eased my worries by playing dress up. I turned a long fat lady skirt into a wonderful artsy spring dress.--
Laugh if you want. But I enjoy doing this because it's a rarity tht I find dresses in patterns & lengths that I like. SO, I find em, tweak em, & wear em. (You can't see the dress in these pictures, I know. Kinda pointless huh?)



Oh yeah, btw: My tanning lotion is quite wonderful! I'm glad that I made thee investment. Because eventhough the weather has been very shitty the past week, I still managed to get a beautiful tan. How??? A tanning bed. I know I know, I was always against tanning beds too..Until I looked down at my legs one day and came to the realization that this just ain't right. I need some color and life to these poor, pale things.

I hung out with Larry & Leigh in the Central West End and caught up! I havent seen them since highschool! Fun times.
I ought to slap myself for not taking any pics.

Shad challanged me to a game of HORSE on the basketball court,
where I BEAT-HIS-ASS, he was mad, and ashamed!
My camera started acting shitty again, so the pictures turned out awful. But you get the point..





On Saturday I worked at Red Lobster during the day, shopped some more at night..then fell asleep over Rashad's until 7am Sunday morning..

He took me home where I showered, and got ready for work, and had to be there by 8:30am.
So pissed. I wanted to go to the May Day Parade. Ghetto, I know. But it brings back memories from when I used to be on Spirit Squad at Carr-Lane VPA, my middle school.
We would travel the States and attend so many different festivals and parades..
*sigh, the memories*

I finally got off of work at 5pm.
came home and took my ass to bed.

It's Tuesday now. Yesterday was my little twin sister's 16th Birthdy's! Wooot wooot!
I remember 16. My big sister Shiloh gave me the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album.
Neo-Soul has been the love of my life ever since!
My birthday is less than a week away! Hmm..I hope it doesnt rain. I hate the rain. It'd totally kill my bday. *crosses fingers*

Today was a beautiful day in St.Louis, I woke up to he sun shining through my window,
it had to have gotten up to atleast 80 degrees! And my ass had the NERVE to wear jeans today??? *smh* I hate jeans.

I SHOULD clean my room while I'm still off,
BUT. Eh, I don't feel like it right now. I have a shitload of laundry to do, and I need to go get some boxes to pack up the things that I know I'm not going to use right now. I just got notified that my flight for London got changed to an hour before I was originally supposed to leave. Shit. Good for me, I can't wait to get the hell outta here.
